For the last two years at the end of October, my wonderful friend Melisa over at Suburban Scrawl somehow convinces me that participating in #NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month) for November is a good idea. I freak out at the thought of having to write and post something EVERY DAY for the entire month, but yet I keep participating. I’ve even done it during a month of February JUST TO SEE IF I COULD.
I’m not sure what I was thinking. #PotentiallyInsane
I’ve pondered the whole concept today and come to the following conclusions:
1. Melisa has magical powers. Much like a unicorn, she spreads glitter and positive energy where ever she goes. Why else would she so easily be able to influence me AND MANY OTHERS to participate in something so insane?
2. I’ve decided that #NaBloPoMo is like childbirth. You don’t remember how really painful it is because you get something amazing and cool at the end of it, so you keep agreeing to do it over and over. But it hurts like a bitch.
Wish me luck, folks, and I’ll see you on the other side. If you are interested in joining me, head over to the BlogHer website and be sure to sign up for #NaBloPoMo for yourself.
